This gold pedal harp dates from circa 1805 and features a classical fluted corinthian column, a crown with ram heads and garlands, and a stylized floral soundboard. It has seven pedals and forty-two strings (thirty-four are missing), on four reeded feet. The dimensions are 67.5" high x 30" deep.
The serial number on this plate is in the low 600s, and is etched in script on brass plate after with the text PAR BREVIT INVENTION No. Also present is the following text:
