This extremely rare Concert Mandolin Zither is in near mint condition, which is exceptional for an instrument of its age. It plays very well, sounds beautiful, and holds tune at A=440. The Concert Mandolin Zither is a German instrument that is related in concept to the Marxophone, Celestaphone, and Guitarophone, but that uses high-quality European building standards, resulting in an instrument a sonic quality that is much better than that of most other piano zithers. It is also about 50% larger than the standard Marxophone, Celestaphone, or Guitarophone, and has beautifully painted motifs on the soundboard. We have never seen another one in person. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime oppotunity!
