This Maxophone (zither / autoharp / celestaphone / phonoharp) is in near mint cosmetic condition for its age and works perfectly. This is the nicest Marxophone that we have ever offered for sale (and we have bought and sold dozens of them). It has no structural cracks, sounds incredibly great, and has the rare wooden hammer action, which is preferable to the lead-tipped action that is found on the other 90% of Marxophones. Only about one out of every ten Marxophones that we have owned is in this nice of condition, and only one out of ten Marxophones have the wooden hammer action, which makes this Marxophone an exceptional find.
