This rare ships piano (aka yacht piano, captain's piano, etc.) dates back to the late 1800s, when it was either sold to or distributed by Thomas W. Wright of Ferry Road, Leith, England. It features a keyboard that folds upward into the body of the piano in order to save space. The fallboard has elaborate carvings and the case is quarter-sawn oak. There is a collapsable music stand that folds into the body of the piano as well.
