This 4-octave set of "hanging" Malmark handbells, ranging from C4-C8, is mounted on a heavy-duty and elegant black aluminum frame. A 4-octave set of handbells from Malmark costs $12,015.
These bells sound wonderful, and come with 10 mallets that cover the whole range:
(2) MH10 Mallets; Small yellow mallet head; For C4 through F#4 handbells
(2) MH20 Mallets; Light blue mallet head; For G4 through E5 handbells.
(2) MH30 Mallets; Red mallet head. For F5 through D#6 handbells.
(2) MH40 Mallets; Grey mallet head. For handbells E6 and above.
(2) MH50 Mallets; Clear Lexan/Lucite mallets for G#7-C8
The bells are like new, and do not have clappers inside of them. The C5 and C6 bells are duplicated in the set in order to facilitate playing.
The diameter of the bells range from 2" to 6.5"
The height of the bells range from 2" to 5.75"
The entire set weighs 51 lbs. The dimensions are 50" x 37" x 7".
We are willing to drill a hole through the top middle of the frame so that the frame can be hung from a stand, and offer this option for free to the buyer. The base consists of two aluminum legs that can easily be screwed onto the frame, allowing the user to stand the frame anywhere. To easily play the bells while sitting or standing, you should position the set so that the bottom row of bells sits at least a few feet off the ground.
