J.C. Deagan Song Bells were made between 1918-1924 and feature a G-C 2.5-octave range pitched one-octave lower than that of orchestra bells. These rare bells are in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. The resonators are crack-free, and the lowest six resonators are adjustable with wing/set screws, which allows for precise tuning to the resonant frequency of each bar. Deagan only made these tunable resonators for their finer bells. Only a small percentage of the Deagan Model Song Bells sets that we have owned had the tunable lower resonators. The resonators are perfectly tuned, giving the instrument a full, round sound on every note.
