Invented by Henry Marx and manufactured by the Phonoharp Company in 1912, the Celestaphone is a "mandolin guitar zither" that is roughly two times the size of a Phonoharp chord zither. It features a row of fixed weighted hammers that have a unique repeating action and spans 2-octaves, from C-C. This instrument plays perfectly and sounds wonderful.
